Winter Solstice / Matariki / Yule celebration with Sacred Chants, Music, Meditation As our days grow shorter and our nights grow longer in Aotearoa New Zealand, we draw together in community, to celebrate the transition from our darkest time on the last day before winter solstice begins moving us back into the light...Please light a candle wherever you are, and join us for an intimate evening of moving meditations, chants, songs, and sharing circles (depending on numbers of participants, we'll have the option to share in small group breakout rooms to give everyone a time to share from the heart about their own inner and outer transition time. St Barnabas DUP Zoom circle, Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand… Everyone welcome! Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures! No longer limited by geographical location, the invitation is to form a virtual circle, joining our hearts and voices, and our souls and spirits, as we turn “Towards the One” as a greater collective. We will tune in together to sing and move to uplifting mantras and melodies from the world’s Spiritual traditions from the comfort and safety of our lock-down locations. Nigel Hameed and Helen Karuna will host the circle from their living room, instructing and guiding the movements, mantra and melody like we usually do for you to join in as you wish (with the sound on mute at your end). You may like to dance the movements and sing with us, or be seated and sing, or be in the energy as a viewer.
