Roy and Jeannie ("Majida") met at the zikr immersion retreat led by Leilah and Bodhi Be in 2011. They had both been involved with the Dances for years, but this was an especially magical retreat. :) Majida moved from the US to be with Roy and they are now both certified DUP leaders, based in Auckland. They value the direct experience of how music and movement can spark joy, connection, and love.
